TRANSFER PAPER FOR DRY TRANSFER PRINTING FOR NATURAL LEATHER AND DRY TRANSFER PRINTING METHOD FOR NATURAL LEATHER

A transfer paper to be used in a transfer printing method for a natural leather which comprises closely contacting a transfer paper, carrying a reactive dye-containing ink printed thereon or imparted thereto, with a finished or half-finished product comprising a natural leather material and pressing the same with heating, thus transferring the ink from the transfer paper to the finished or half-finished product comprising the natural leather material, and then conducting a moisture/heat bonding treatment under such conditions as not to damage the leather, characterized in that said transfer paper comprises a release agent layer and an ink-receiving layer laminated thereon; said release agent layer comprises a synthetic resin soluble in organic solvents; and said ink-receiving layer contains a hydrophilic synthetic resin, which softens or melts when heated, a hydrophilic adhesive and various auxiliaries. A dry transfer printing method for a natural leather using the novel dry transfer method which satisfies requirements for qualities, cost, delivery and ecology, characterized by using the aforesaid transfer paper.
