Provided is a numerical control device which in multi-spindle machine tool, working of a plurality of surfaces to be worked of different normal vectors can be performed by only operation by a user of changing the posture of a tool so as to be perpendicular to a surface to be worked. The numerical control device for the multi-spindle machine tool provided with a rotary shaft and controlling the posture of the tool with respect to a workpiece is provided with a first storage device wherein a work program can be recorded; a second storage device wherein coordinate systems can be stored; and a central processing unit which is capable of executing the work program, selects a coordinate system suitable for working from the coordinate systems stored in the second storage device on the basis of the posture of the tool fixed by the work program or external input, and outputs data for working the workpiece by the selected coordinate system.
