摘要 <p>Disclosed is a method for producing a positive electrode active material for a lithium ion battery, which is characterized by comprising: a step for preparing a mixture that contains (A) Li3PO4, or an Li source and a phosphoric acid source, (B) at least one source selected from the group consisting of an Fe source, an Mn source, a Co source and an Ni source, water and a water-soluble organic solvent having a boiling point of not less than 150°C, said mixture being adjusted to contain (A) and (B) in such amounts that LiMPO4 (wherein M represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of Fe, Mn, Co and Ni) is produced from (A) and (B) in the mixture at a concentration not less than 0.5 mol/L but not more than 1.5 mol/L; and a step for producing fine LiMPO4 particles having an average primary particle diameter of not less than 30 nm but not more than 80 nm by reacting (A) and (B) under high-temperature high-pressure conditions.</p>
