摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus capable of avoiding an increase in the size and weight of the device. <P>SOLUTION: The DC sides of two six-pulse diodes 21, 22 are connected in series to form a DC series circuit and a three-level inverter 30 is connected through a DC circuit 40, supplying an AC power from the three-level inverter 30 to an AC motor 9 in a power running mode. The DC sides of two regenerative converters 51, 52 are connected in series to form a regenerative converter series circuit for connection to the DC circuit 40, while the AC sides of the regenerative converters 51, 52 are connected to the secondary windings 18a, 18b of an input transformer 18. In regeneration, the AC motor 9 operates as a generator, the three-level inverter 30 operates as a rectifier, the DC is converted through the regenerative converters 51, 52 into the AC and is connected to the secondary windings 18a, 18b without a booster transformer to enable recovery of power, thereby eliminating the need for the booster transformer to avoid an increase in the size and weight of the device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
