PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer printing without producing any non-printed areas at edges of a recording medium. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer uses an inkjet system for printing on the recording medium and is provided with: a recording medium conveying means 221 for conveying the recording medium; a head carriage means 202 for reciprocating a printing head; an ink recovery means 211 for receiving the ink ejected from the printing head outside off the edges of the recording medium at the underside position of the recording medium; a printing drive controller 100 for performing printing onto the recording medium based on a printing range to be set in a protruding manner outside the edges in the conveying direction of the recording medium; and a guide rib 214 for supporting the recording medium at a position facing the printing head.
