PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substance detecting system simple in constitution and capable of precisely detecting a substance at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the substance detecting system 10, a main component is analyzed on the basis of the data of a sampling gas, which is accumulated in a database 57 by prior sampling, in a measuring processing part 50 to specify the presence of gas containing an unknown substance or the kind of the present substance and the mixing ratio or concentration of the gas. Herein, in the substance detecting system 10, the discrimination capacity of the substance is enhanced by differentiating the form of a vibrator 41 or the material quality of a molecule recognizing membrane 42.
