PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending press capable of controlling the deformation of sheets at an edge of a table in order to obtain substantially equal bend over the entire length of the bent sheet. SOLUTION: The press includes at least one linking rod (100 or 101), which rod is oriented substantially perpendicularly to the movement direction, and has one end that is fastened to a deformable portion (112) of a second table (12) and has its other end fastened to a housing.
