<p>The invention relates to stone sawing without acute noise. Acute noise, which is produced by the direct friction between the metal bands and the stones, reaches levels greater than 90 db at a distance of 1.5 m between said bands and the measuring apparatus. By increasing the concentration of grit in the sludge and reducing the size of same, the concentration of grit particles can be sufficiently increased such that the bands do not rub against the stone and the annoying noise disappears, enabling an increased feed.</p> |
