Disclosed is a plastic container wherein the trace (V) of a parting line (PL) is located on the side surface side of the container beyond the grounding part (24) at the bottom (23) of the molded container when a preform (10) having the parting line (PL) formed in the outer side surface along the circumferential direction is molded into a predetermined container shape by blow molding, in order to effectively avoid occurrence of environmental stress fracture at the bottom of the container produced by blow molding the preform due to the trace of the parting line when the preform is molded.
