<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a contact degree between catalyst-carried carbon powder and a hydrogen ion conductive polymer electrolyte in a catalyst layer of a solid polymer fuel cell, and to provide the catalyst layer of high power generation performance or catalyst ink for forming the catalyst layer by using the evaluation method. <P>SOLUTION: This evaluation method is characterized by evaluating the contact degree between the catalyst-carried carbon powder and the hydrogen ion conductive polymer electrolyte in the catalyst layer of the solid polymer fuel cell, based on a quantity of the hydrogen ion conductive polymer electrolyte of solvating in the catalyst ink including the catalyst-carried carbon powder and the hydrogen ion conductive polymer electrolyte. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
