<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportable radiographic imaging apparatus that displays a radiograph in an appropriate orientation. <P>SOLUTION: A transportable radiographic imaging apparatus 1 whose detecting section P is composed of a plurality of block regions A, B, and C includes: a reverse-bias power supply 14 for applying a reverse-bias voltage to each radiation detector element; current detecting means 42A, 42B, and 42C for respective bias lines 9A, 9B, and 9C; a circuit 17 for reading out charge accumulated in each radiation detector element; communication means 29 for transmitting obtained image data to a console; a battery 27; control means 22 for detecting the start of radiation irradiation according to an increase in current of the current detecting means; and information adding means 22 for adding, to the image data, information on a result of detection of radiation irradiation in each block region.
