<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric material for a plasma display panel which can be calcined under a temperature of 600°C or less, without generating warpage on a glass substrate at calcination, capable of improving strength of the glass substrate, and furthermore, having high transmittance and low permittivity as well as a haze value, and a glass plate for a plasma display panel equipped with the dielectric layer formed by using it. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric material for the plasma display panel is composed of ZnO-B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-SiO<SB>2</SB>based glass powder, which does not contain PbO substantially, and is composed of the glass containing 1 to 20% of ZnO, 26 to 50% of B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, over 42 to 50% of SiO<SB>2</SB>, and 5 to 20% of Na<SB>2</SB>O+K<SB>2</SB>O in mole percentage, additionally, with a moisture content of the glass powder to be 0.1 to 0.8 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
