<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure high rigidity of an adjuster supporting member for supporting a lash adjuster in a valve gear of an internal combustion engine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The valve gear includes the adjuster supporting member 40 for supporting a hydraulic lash adjuster 38. The adjuster supporting member 40 includes adjuster insertion holes 46a-46d for supporting the lash adjusters 38 to each cylinder in four corners, an adjuster holder 42 having an ignition plug tube 48 at the center and a connection part 44 for connecting respective adjuster holders 42, and further includes the crest-shaped projections 50, 52 projecting toward a cam carrier 28 side in the connection part 44 and end 40a.
