PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration method of an inkjet head unit for effectively preventing unevenness by a spacer particle, and an inkjet coating method. SOLUTION: This calibration method includes a delivery process of delivering spacer particle dispersion liquid from many delivery ports of the spacer particle dispersion liquid while changing the delivery condition, an image data acquisition process of acquiring image data of the delivered spacer particle dispersion liquid, an area measuring process of measuring the area of a droplet of the spacer particle dispersion liquid, a delivery state photographing process of photographing the droplet of the delivered spacer particle dispersion liquid, a delivery speed measuring process of measuring the delivery speed of the spacer particle dispersion liquid, a delivery condition adjusting process of determining the applied voltage to a piezoelectric element, and a delivery timing adjusting process of adjusting the timing of delivering the spacer particle dispersion liquid.
