<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a paper feeder for restraining multi-feeding. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A sheet processing control device moves a support plate 650 upward by driving a second motor M2 of an elevating mechanism 660 to rotate a rotation member 661. Thereby, as shown in Figure (A), a first guide 620 and a second guide 630 move upward, and papers (paper bundle) move upward as well. Thereafter, as shown in Figure (B), the paper processing control device vibrates the first guide 620 and the second guide 630. Concretely, the first motor M1 of the drive mechanism 640 is driven, so as to make the first guide 620 and the second guide 630 execute a first action for moving the first guide 620 and the second guide 630 at the first position in a direction away from the paper and a second action for moving the first guide 620 and the second guide 630 in direction in contact with the paper and returning to the first position predetermined times.
