INTERFERON-a (IFN-a) FUSED PROTEIN HAVING IFN-a AND CYTOPLASMIC TRANSDUCTION PEPTIDE (CTP)

The present invention relates to an interferon-a (IFN-a) fused protein, comprising IFN-a fused to cytoplasmic transduction peptide (CTP). Specifically, the present invention relates to a fused protein wherein a CTP, which binds cell-membrane barriers and enables translocation into the liver, is genetically fused to a human IFN-a, thereby enhancing the conjugation capacity of cell membranes and antivirus activity; inhibiting CTP transport into the cell nucleus; enhancing the translocation and settlement of the fused protein into the liver and of transduction to liver tissue. Accordingly, it is possible to develop medical products from the fused protein which are effective at low doses for preventing or treating liver diseases associated with viral infection.
