Provided is a portable wireless terminal having an antenna configuration wherein wireless functions are not deteriorated even in the states where folding-type cases are opened and closed. In the portable wireless terminal, a first antenna element is disposed on the inner surface side of the display case, and a second antenna element is provided on the outer surface side. First and second conductive plates are provided to face the first and the second antenna elements. In the state where the display case and the main body case are opened, the first and the second antenna elements provided on the display case function. In the state where the display case and the main body case are closed, the second conductive plate operates to the second antenna element such that the second conductive plate shields the antenna element from being influenced by the metal of the main body case, and the second antenna element operates without being influenced by the metal of the main body case.
