Provided is an animal feed comprising a) a stabilized pancreas product comprising an emulsification of whole pancreas and one or more pancreatic enzymes in zymogen form, wherein said one or more enzymes comprise a protease, wherein said stabilized pancreas product, when activated, has a protease activity in the range of from 20 percent of the protease activity of pancreatin to 100 percent of the protease activity of pancreatin; wherein said stabilized pancreas product is stable upon exposure to air or water, and wherein said stabilized pancreas product is not defatted, and b) one or more additional animal feed ingredients.
