WEAKNESS FINDING SYSTEM AND METHOD

Learner's weakness attributed to the relationship between unknown learning elements is found. A weakness finding system includes a means for obtaining first answering status data representing the current answering status of a learner answering questions, a cause data storage means for associating the condition of the answering status represented by the first answering status data with the cause data relating to the cause leading to the answering status satisfying the condition and storing them, a means for obtaining second answering status data representing the record or presumption of the past answering status of the learner answering other questions, a means for obtaining third answering status data representing the current answering status of the learner answering a part of the other questions selected according to the second answering status data, an answering status data storage means for associating the first answering status data with the third answering status data and storing them, a means for outputting data relating to the weakness of the learner according to the stored cause data associated with the condition satisfied by the answering status represented by the first answering status data and the third answering status data, and a means for updating the contents in the cause data storage means according to the contents in the answering status data storage means.
