Disclosed is a compound of formula (I), wherein A and B each denote a substituted heretocyclic group selected from the options given in the specification, and wherein the other substituents are as defined in the specification. Also disclosed is the use of the compound for causing an inhibitory effect on factor Xa or related serine proteases.
