<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for allowing terminals beyond a capacity of a conference server to be connected to join a conference. <P>SOLUTION: A GW 4 receives sound data and video data from a plurality of videophone terminals 7 under a PBX 6, and selects a videophone terminal 7 as a target terminal to be relayed from among the plurality of videophone terminals on the basis of the sound volume levels of these sound data. Then, the GW 4 sends the sound data and video data received from the videophone terminal 7 selected as a target terminal to a relay server 2. Furthermore, the GW 4 receives sound data and video data from the relay server 2 and synthesizes the sound data and the video data separately to create sound data for conference sound and video data for conference screen, and sends the sound data for conference sound and the video data for conference screen to each videophone terminal 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
