<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a server in a conference system and to enable a reserver of a conference to display video data of a desired participant terminal at a desired position at each participating terminal. <P>SOLUTION: Upon receipt of the designation of a client terminal 3 as a participating terminal participating in a conference, a management server 1 transmits reservation information to each participant terminal. A relay server 2 collects video data from participating terminals and distributes video data of a participant terminal designated in a video distribution request, which is received from a participant terminal of a video data distribution destination, to the participant terminal of the video data distribution destination. The client terminal 3 transmits to the relay server 2 the video distribution request, designating the desired participant terminal, contained in reservation information. Furthermore, the client terminal transmits video data to the relay server 2, receives video data of the participant terminals from the relay server 2 and composites them and outputs the composited video.
