<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finger pinch preventing device having a structure of always closing a gap, which is formed on the suspension side of a door and a folding door held by a hinge etc., having a danger of finger pinch occurring immediately before closing. <P>SOLUTION: The finger pinch preventing device includes a plurality of vertically long arcuate panels, a pair of channel members with the shaft-center moving channels respectively arranged on upper and lower parts, and a pair of shaft-bearings with shaft-insertion holes respectively arranged on the upper and lower part. The plurality of the arcuate panels are connected in an overlapping and extensible manner, and shaft centers are arranged on upper and lower parts of both ends of the connected arcuate panels. The upper and lower shaft centers on one of the ends are rotatably inserted into the upper and lower shaft bearings, and the upper and lower shaft centers on the other end are inserted into the upper and lower channel members in a manner that the shaft centers are slidable in the shaft center moving channels. The shaft bearings and the channel members are separately mounted on the door and the inner surface of the vertical frame. As the door is open, the plurality of the arcuate panels extend while the shaft centers simultaneously move in the shaft-center moving channels, and the part having the danger of finger pinch formed between the plane in the thickness direction and the inner surface of the vertical frame of the suspension side of the door is always closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
