METHOD AND DEVICE FOR GENERATING PRESENTATION IMAGE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a data amount while maintaining image quality for a document image, regarding a presentation image obtained by combining the document image and an auxiliary image.

SOLUTION: A method for generating a presentation image includes the steps of: capturing a document image GK to be projected on a screen 14; capturing an auxiliary image GH obtained by photographing an additional object that is added to the document image for support, by means of a photographing apparatus in a state that the document image is not projected, with the screen as a background; performing regional discrimination on the document image to separate the document image into character data KM and photograph data KS; performing regional discrimination on the auxiliary image to separate the auxiliary image into character data HM and photograph data HS; and combining the character data KM and the photograph data KS for the document image and combining the character data HM and the photograph data HS for the auxiliary image.
