<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save image storage capacity in an X-ray computer tomography apparatus and a medical image processing apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The X-ray computer tomography apparatus includes: a rack 1 for collecting projection data concerning the three-dimensional area of a subject; an image reconstruction part 38 for reconstructing a plurality of first tomographic image data files concerning a plurality of cross sections based on the projection data; an image generation part 48 for generating a plurality of second tomographic image data files concerning a plurality of other cross sections from the plurality of first tomographic image data files; a storage part 49 for storing the plurality of second tomographic image data files; a scan expert system 43 for determining whether a cross section is positioned outside the subject or not for each of the plurality of second tomographic image data files; and a control part 29 for controlling the storage part 49 to delete the second tomographic image data files determined that the cross section is positioned outside the subject from the storage part 49.
