Gas (2) sensor (1), equipped with one or more substantially threadlike nanostructures (3) disposed between two electrodes (4, 5) thus allowing to measure said concentration by the measurement of an electrical parameter representative of the electrical resistance of said nanostructures (3) from a measuring current (I), the threadlike structures being characterized in that they have a range of gas (2) concentration sensitivity temperatures, wherein the number and type of threadlike nanostructures (3) and their disposal between said electrodes (4, 5) is such that the total electrical resistance of said disposal between the electrodes allows raising the temperature of said threadlike nanostructures (3) to a temperature included in said range of temperatures with the measuring current (I), thus allowing to measure said electrical parameter and raise the temperature of one or more of said nanostructures (3) with a single circuit and with minimum electric power.
