<p>Disclosed is a compound which is useful as an anti-fungal agent, particularly a therapeutic agent for deep-seated mycoses. A fungus Acremonium persicinum is collected, and a cyclic compound is isolated from a culture of the fungus. It is confirmed that the cyclic compound or a salt thereof has a good anti-fungal activity and is therefore useful as a medicinal agent, particularly an anti-fungal agent. The cyclic compound or a salt thereof can be used as a prophylactic or therapeutic agent for mycoses, particularly deep-seated mycoses.</p> |
