The assembly has a flexible driving wing deformable by resistance, and a driving unit for driving the wing to a wing movement. The wing is locally supported by a torsionally rigid longitudinal beam arrangement (27) in a driving direction. The arrangement is adjustable relative to the wing towards a front edge (35) and a rear edge (36) of the wing and is positioned in different working positions. The working positions differ in surface distribution between surface sections (43, 44) of the wing lying before and behind the arrangement.
