PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boundary material which is manufacturable and installable easily, can suppress the occurrence of gap, and has superior aesthetic appearance. SOLUTION: This boundary material is used to fill the gap between a floor member and a rail on a substrate at the corner of the substrate and the rail. The cross section of the boundary material forms a reverse L-shape. The outer surface of the vertical member of generally L-shape forms an installation surface in contact with the rail. The lateral member of generally L-shape forms a surface which covers the upper surface of the floor member. A trapezoidal elastic body having a cross section the upper side of which forms a short side and the lower side of which forms a long side is attached to the inner surface of the vertical member of reverse L-shape.
