<p>An electronic body thermometer comprises an integration circuit connected in series to a thermistor and a capacitor, and a clock generator for generating a clock signal; measures the transient time period when there is a transition from the stationary state to the transient state in the integration circuit by counting the clock signals generated by the clock generator; and calculates a temperature value based on the measured transient time period. The clock generator in the electronic body thermometer switches the frequency of the clock signal on the basis of the calculated temperature value.</p> |
