PURPOSE: A single phase-single phase online UPS device, a three phase-single phase online UPS device, and a battery charge control method thereof are provided to secure a normal operation regardless of the change of the number of batteries by controlling an inverter part according to the output voltage of a battery. CONSTITUTION: A rectifying part(20) rectifies a single phase AC power source into a DC power source. A DC-DC chopper part(50) controls the charge voltage of a battery. An inverter part(60) changes the charge voltage of the battery into an AC voltage. An output filter part(70) filters the AC voltage which is transformed with the inverter part. A bypass switch part(80) selects a by-pass output or the battery output. A controller(90) sets the charge rated voltage and the charge rated current of the battery according to the number of the battery.
