Improved stent graft fixation within vessels at treatment sites is provided by providing stent grafts (100) and methods of making and using stent grafts with bare metal portions (102, 132, 134) comprising a substance (123, 133, 135) that promotes an inflammatory response, such as wrapping bare metal portions (102, 132, 134) of the stent graft (100) with sutures (123, 133, 135). |
