<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater capable of performing an efficient defrosting operation and reducing usage of hot water in a tank in the defrosting operation. <P>SOLUTION: This water heater 11 includes a control unit 33 executing the defrosting operation of an air heat exchanger 25 by supplying hot water in the tank 15 to a water heat exchanger 21. In the defrosting operation, the control unit 33 determines a hot water supply time from the tank 15 to the water heat exchanger 21 on the basis of the temperature difference between a temperature of a refrigerant flowing into the water heat exchanger 21 and a temperature of hot water in the tank 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
