<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer which is high in measurement precision with a simpler and inexpensive structure. <P>SOLUTION: The sphygmomanometer 10 includes: a cylindrical housing 30; a support belt 34 which is rolled and provided inside the housing 30 and whose diameter is expandable by elastic flexibility; an air bag 36 which is provided inside the support belt 34 and presses the upper arm of a person to be measured, inserted inside; a pin 32a for fixing and releasing a part of the support belt 34 so that its diameter is not expanded; and a pressurizing means 18 for supplying air to the air bag 36. In the support belt 34, groups of holes 39 into which the pins 32a are fitted are arranged in the peripheral direction and the pins 32a are driven to be advanced and retracted by an actuator 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
