PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding wire component of a partially-closed magnetic path type that facilitates coping with requirement of miniaturization, suppressing leakage of magnetic fluxes, and obtaining desired electrical and magnetic properties. SOLUTION: In the periphery of a drum type core 1 with a coil 2 being wound around the outer periphery of a body section 1a, a plate-like or a column-like partially-closed magnetic path forming member 3 made of a material whose magnetic permeability is higher than that of the drum type core 1 is arranged along the axial direction of the drum type core 1 so as not to contact with the flange 1b formed at both ends of the drum type core 1 and so as to form a closed magnetic path via a gap with part of the outer periphery of the flange 1b.
