PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor capable of compressing liquid effectively without enlarging the thickness of the scroll wall by dispersing the concentrated stress around the wall root of the contact line generated when two spirals contact with each other. SOLUTION: The scroll compressor 30 includes a stationary scroll 40, a movable scroll 42 revolved in engagement with the stationary scroll 40 and forming a compression chamber 44, and a swing link mechanism 73 to revolve the movable scroll 42 in the revolving radius, varying by putting a bushing 72 in swinging round a drive pin 66 located eccentrically from a rotary shaft 60, wherein the engaging surfaces of the stationary scroll 40 and movable scroll 42 in engagement with each other are tracing an involute curve and put in line contact at the tangent 350 with each other, and the tangent 350 is inclined with respect to the axis of revolution.
