<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can stably supply high-concentration hydrogen water used for drinking regardless of use conditions in an electrolytic gas storage type home hydrogen generator used not only for drinking but also for many purposes, such as cooking and washing water. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen water generator is provided with two compatible filter units having the same specification and configuration and accommodating a porous activated carbon molding molded by mixing powdered activated carbon and a binder. A first filter unit and an electrolytic cell connected to the water intake side of a second filter unit are connected through a three-way valve switchable by an external command to configure a purified water route for directly discharging water after passing through the first filter unit and a hydrogen water route for discharging water in a state of making the first filter unit communicate with the second filter unit, whereby operation after switching between purified water and hydrogen water can be performed, and the first and second filter units can be changed with each other and used.
