PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creep prevention method for a rolling bearing capable of decreasing manufacturing man-hours of the rolling bearing and also capable of satisfactorily maintaining the creep prevention performance for a long period of time, even if it is used in a high-temperature environment, and the rolling bearing. SOLUTION: A creep prevention part 7 which contains a microcapsule housing an adhesive or an adhesive component is provided in a circular groove 31 provided on an outer peripheral surface of a ball bearing 1. In a state that the ball bearing 1 is mounted to a fitting hole H1 of a housing H, the microcapsule is heated and made to burst. An outer peripheral surface of an outer ring 3 is bonded to the fitting hole H1 of the housing H by an adhesive produced from the adhesive or the adhesive component discharged from the microcapsule.
