Clutch and control device for automatic motor-vehicle gearboxes with a positive or positive plus non-positive clutch arrangement for selecting two or more gear-change ranges. The clutch elements (42; 140) have a driving profile (8, 9) which, with the clutch engaged, produces a mutually opposite axial force component as a function of the torque. After the triggering of a gear-change pulse, e.g. by a synchronisation signal or an adjustment signal of a continuously variable converter, a correction in the adjustment variable of the continuously variable converter is triggered automatically within the gear-change phase, e.g. by a load-dependent signal (i) in order to compensate for the load-dependent or speed-slip dependent deviation in synchronism between the clutch elements (42, 140) and to optimise the quality of the gear change. <IMAGE> |
