The shield (1) has an inner ring (2) for receiving a bearing, and an outer ring (4) integrally connected with the inner ring by spring-elastic elements (3). The inner ring comprises a recess for receiving a shaft of the bearing, where the shield is made of flexibly ductile plastic material such as acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polylacetate (PLA), PVC, polyester (PES) or synthetic resin. The spring-elastic elements are formed as spokes (7) that comprise reinforcing ribs, and the outer ring comprises extensions. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electromotor drive of a steering of a motor vehicle (2) a method for manufacturing a bearing shield.
