<p>Provided is an industrial two-layer fabric, which is formed to have such dehydrating grooves by a woven structure without decreasing the number of warps as extend in a longitudinal direction for the fabric to run, thereby to retain a dehydrating property and air permeability, and which is excellent in surface smoothness, fiber supporting property and rigidity. The industrial two-layer fabric is constituted of upper-side warps to be woven with upper-side wefts, lower-side warps to be woven with lower-side wefts, and warp-binding threads to be woven with both the upper-side wefts and the lower-side wefts. The upper-side warps and the lower-side warps include a set of upper and lower warps arranged above and below, and a set of warp-binding threads, at least one of which is a warp-binding thread. The industrial two-layer fabric is characterized in that knuckles formed of a set of the warp-binding threads and appearing on the upper side are adjacent and parallel to knuckles formed of the upper-side warps adjoining the set of the warp-binding threads.</p> |
