PURPOSE: An electron emitting source is provided to prevent the contamination of an electron device due to conductive organic/inorganic materials, a binder, and a polymer paste. CONSTITUTION: An electron emission unit(10) comprises a needle-shaped electron emission material. An electrode(12) supports the electron emission unit. An electrode is buried and fixed in the lower side of the needle-shaped electron emission material. The electrode has an electrical resistance and a multilayer structure. One end of the needle-shaped electron emission material is fixed by a fixing layer(12a) on the uppermost part of the electrode.
