A ball (10) suitable for water games is disclosed. The ball (10) has a gel core (26) surrounded a floating enhancement section (28). The floating enhancement section (28) in turn is covered by an outer elastic shell (20). The floating enhancement section (26) in the interior of the ball is made from a plastic material and gas. Such a material may be a foamed polyurethane. The diameter of the gel core (26) is thicker than the thickness of the floating enhancement section (28).
