<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an inkjet recording medium which enables a good temporal stability of coating liquids thereon and a good ink absorbency and strength of the ink receiving layer formed by the coating liquids. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the inkjet recording medium includes: a step for forming a coating layer on its support body by coating a first coating liquid containing inorganic particles, acetoacetyl modified polyvinyl alcohol, zirconium compound, basic compound; and a step for providing a second coating liquid containing the acidic compound onto the coating layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
