<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode material with a high capacity density per volume important for enhancement of capacity of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, through development of a material not only with a higher capacity density per weight but with a higher true density than graphite, in developing a material with a larger true specific gravity than the graphite in order to provide a high-capacity anode material indispensable for enhancement of capacity of a lithium-ion battery. <P>SOLUTION: For the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery provided with a work electrode 1 equipped with an anode active material, a counter electrode 2, and nonaqueous electrolyte, the anode active material contains Na<SB>x</SB>FeO<SB>2</SB>(0.8≤x≤1.2) having a lamellar structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
