<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generation system capable of reducing hydrogen amount in a gas discharged outside a system, and easy to downsize. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell power generation system has a fuel cell equipped with an electrode-electrolyte integrated material and a hydrogen supply source coupled to the fuel cell, and is equipped with an exhaust means for exhausting the gas in the fuel cell outside the fuel cell power generation system. The exhaust means has a hydrogen consumption device for consuming hydrogen in the gas exhausted from the fuel cell. The hydrogen consumption device has a mechanism in which hydrogen exhausted from the hydrogen supply source can be consumed, and when stopping the fuel cell, after the hydrogen exhausted from the hydrogen supply source reaches an amount consumable by the hydrogen consumption device, a supply passage of hydrogen to the fuel cell from the hydrogen supply source is closed and hydrogen exhausted from the hydrogen supply source is supplied to the hydrogen consumption device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
