<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the failure of hardware and loss of data preserved in a memory by a short circuit when water is immersed inside the electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic device including a first member provided with a first connection part, a second member provided with a second connection part to be connected with the first connection part, and a circuit for operating the electronic device, the water immersion detection circuit is provided in the first connection part and the second connection part, the water immersion detection circuit is turned to a closed circuit when water is detected, a relay switch is operated, and power supply from a power source to a portable terminal body circuit is interrupted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
