PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning apparatus capable of making an optical scan with high precision without increasing cost. SOLUTION: The optical scanning apparatus includes a first holding member 5100 configured to hold a vibrating mirror unit 2104, a second holding member 5300 configured to hold the first holding member 5100, and a fitting member 5500 configured to fit the second holding member 5300 to an optical housing. The second holding member 5300 has two cuts for turning the vibrating mirror unit 2104 around an axis in parallel with a Y axis.
