PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably prevent an under-refilling phenomenon from being generated. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 1 includes a tank 13 and a delivering head 20 for delivering ink fed from the tank 13, and further includes a purging means for performing purge processing for discharging the ink stored in the delivering head 20 by pressure applied from the outside, a flow rate sensor 57 for detecting the flow rate of the ink moving by the purge processing, and a control apparatus 25 for controlling so as to restrict the amount of the delivery of the delivering head 20 per specified time based on the flow rate detected by the flow rate sensor 57.
