摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a light output variation caused by image data, and to suppress the deterioration of image quality. SOLUTION: A semiconductor laser control device of an electrophotographic apparatus includes a semiconductor laser array having a plurality of light emitting sources, a light output detection means for detecting the light output intensity of the semiconductor laser array, and a current supply means for controlling an amount of a supply current to each light emitting source of the semiconductor laser array. The current supply means includes a light amount correction control unit that performs the automatic control of the amount of light to correct an amount of the supply current so that each light emitting source emits light at a desired light output based on the output of the light output detection means by making each light emitting source of the semiconductor laser array emit light one by one and controls the timing and frequency of the automatic control of the amount of light. The semiconductor laser control device of an electrophotographic apparatus scans a plurality of beams to form a static latent image on a photorecepter.
